Texas Certified Teachers
Teachers holding valid teaching certificates and interested in applying for a position with Fort Worth ISD may apply online at www.fwisd.org.
| Teachers who were certified prior to May 1, 1986, and who have not successfully completed the reading and writing portion of the Texas Higher Education Assessment (THEA), which replaced the TASP, or an appropriate TExES/ExCET exam, will be placed on a six-month Non-Renewable Permit. The teacher must verify completion of the THEA or an appropriate TExES/ExCET exam by the end of the six-month period or current school year. |
